The Future Is Now

Walkabout Mini Golf VR: New DLC sends you to the Eiffel Tower

It’s that time again: Mighty Coconut releases the next DLC for Walkabout Mini Golf VR, completing a magnificent trilogy.

The new DLC “Around the World in 80 Days” is now available for Walkabout Mini Golf VR. As usual, the new course includes two variations with different difficulty levels, each with 18 holes. The popular fox hunt, in which you search for hidden balls or solve a puzzle to win a specially designed putter, is also back.

The DLC will cost $3.99 and will be released for Meta Quest 3, Quest 2, Quest Pro, Playstation VR 2, Pico 4 and SteamVR. This time you can putt on the Victorian “Port Eiffel” in Paris. The curious course on top of the Eiffel Tower is surrounded by hot air balloons and full of ramps that you have to overcome at gigantic heights.

With this latest DLC, Mighty Coconut completes the Jules Verne Trilogy, dedicated to the “Voyages Extraordinaires” series of books by the legendary science fiction author. These include the adventure novels “Journey to the Center of the Earth” (1864), “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” (1870), and “Around the World in 80 Days” (1872).

“Around the World in 80 Days” is now the 24th course for Walkabout Mini Golf VR. Meow Wolf, probably one of the most creative and colorful courses for the VR hit, was released at the end of last year. It was created by Mighty Coconut in collaboration with the popular artist collective.

The stream of new DLC for Walkabout Mini Golf VR is unlikely to stop in the future. The developers have already promised numerous new expansions for 2024. Given the incredible playtime players of the VR game reached in 2023, the new courses are likely to continue to be very popular.
