After seven years of development, AEXLAB’s VR multiplayer shooter VAIL VR will officially launch on February 15 on the Meta Quest Store, priced at $29.99. The game, which focuses on gunplay and social interaction, was originally released on SteamVR in November 2022 and on Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro via App Lab a year later. New features for the official launch include advanced matchmaking, an in-game progression system, new weapons and maps, and a revamped friends list with in-game party features. Players can look forward to 12 maps and over 30 variations for each game mode, such as Search and Destroy, Capture the Flag, Hardpoint, and 1v1 Duels. In addition, the VR Master League will launch the first season of VAIL VR with a $10,000 prize pool.
