The Future Is Now

Ultimate Swing Golf is set to launch on Quest with a mixed reality mode

Ultimate Swing Golf is an upcoming golf game for Meta Quest that offers numerous game modes and supports mixed reality.

Ultimate Swing Golf is the second VR title from well-known golf game developer Clap Hanz after Everybody’s Golf VR, which was released for Playstation VR in 2019. The Japanese studio describes Ultimate Swing Golf as follows:

Completing challenges is rewarded with new avatars, cosmetic items and better golf clubs. You can also choose male or female caddies and unlock better skills via an experience system. Unfortunately, there is no video footage of the mixed reality mode yet.

Ultimate Swing Golf will be released on May 16, 2024 for Quest 2, 3 and Pro and costs $30.

Ultimate Swing Golf is Clap Hanz’ Quest debut

Clap Hanz made a name for itself with the golf game series Everybody’s Golf, which was released exclusively for Playstation devices until 2019. The last game in the series was Everybody’s Golf VR for Playstation VR.

In 2021, Clap Hanz broke away from Sony and released Easy Come Easy Golf for iOS, Nintendo Switch and other platforms. Ultimate Swing Golf is the studio’s first Quest game. A PSVR 2 version has not been announced.

On Meta Quest, Ultimate Swing Golf faces strong competition from Walkabout Mini Golf and the golf simulation Golf+, which are among the most popular VR games on the platform.
