Supersonic Fight wants to be a playable Top Gun with story missions and spectacular dogfights. The jets take off next year.
Following the orders of the commanding officer “Skipper”, you will dive into the danger zone in machines like the F/A-18C Hornet or MiG-29. Through challenging missions, you will get to know your squadron – and the limits of your piloting and combat skills.
In multiplayer, a variety of modes are available: Dogfight (Deathmatch), Team Dogfights (Team Deathmatch), Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, Defend-and-Attack, and VIP. In the latter, one player is randomly selected as the VIP and controls the Air Force One, while the other players in the team must protect the VIP to the landing zone.
Supersonic Fight is being developed for the PC and offers optional VR and HOTAS support. In the VR mode, you’ll be able to push buttons, pull back the throttle, move the stick and flick switches in your cockpit.

Rookies can practice their flying skills in Training Mode or explore the skies over San Francisco in Free Flight Mode.
Use the in-game editor to paint and customize your jet with markings, logos, and text. Thanks to Steam Workshop integration, you can share your creations or download others.
The soundtrack, inspired by the 80s and Harold Faltermeyer’s film music (Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop, The Running Man), should get you in the right mood. For this, the studio hired composer Bert ‘D4XX’ Bruggemann.
Supersonic Fight is being developed by British studio Red Chain Games, founded by Codemasters veterans Dean Baker and Richard M. Smith. Smith is a big fan of the Amiga classic F/A-18 Interceptor and wanted to bring its gameplay feel into the modern age of gaming.
