Samsung Electronics has filed a trademark application for “Samsung Glasses” in the United Kingdom, according to the Intellectual Property Office section of the UK government’s official website. The product categories covered by the trademark include virtual reality headsets, augmented reality headsets, headphones, smartphones, and smart glasses. The exact nature of Samsung Glasses remains unclear. Given the name, it’s most likely to be the AR smart glasses that Samsung unveiled at CES in January 2020. But at this point this is just speculation until there is an official announcement from Samsung.
