Update v64 is rolling out now to Quest headsets and brings big improvements to Meta Quest 3.
System Update 64 is rolling out to Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro headsets from April 8, 2024. As always, it may take up to a week or longer for the update to reach all users.
It brings the following improvements:
The latest update almost exclusively benefits Quest 3, and this may increase in the future as Meta focuses more and more on the next-generation device.
I have already reported on the improved passthrough and will write an article about my impressions as soon as I get the update. It’s nice to see Meta improving this important element of mixed reality using only software.
