The Future Is Now

PSVR 2: Still no release date for Phasmophobia, but it could get a visual upgrade

Phasmophobia was scheduled for release on consoles and PSVR 2 in August 2023, and was delayed until next year after an office fire. The studio gave an update on Steam and wrote that they are still working hard on the port – without committing to a date or time frame.

However, the delay should have advantages for the fans: a large number of improvements that are currently being worked on for the PC version will be implemented in the console version right from the start. In addition, the port will contain many optimizations and will therefore run and look better on consoles. Hopefully the same will be true for the PSVR 2 version.
