The Future Is Now

One of last year’s biggest VR hits is coming soon to the Quest Store

The extraction shooter Ghosts of Tabor has had a phenomenal year. The VR game is finally coming to the Quest Store in February.

Ghosts of Tabor will be released on the Meta Quest Store on February 8, 2024. Previously, the VR game was only available in the App Lab and on Steam.

It can be purchased for $19.99 through January 31 on App Lab and Steam. Pre-orders for the graduated version will be available on the Meta Quest Store for $24.99 shortly. Ghosts of Tabor on Steam will also retail for $24.99 effective on the same date, retaining the Early Access status.

“Ghosts of Tabor remains in active development, and will continue to grow, refine, and adapt to players in a live service environment,” says Beyond Frames.

Combat Waffle also announces that Ghosts of Tabor will be coming to Playstation VR 2 and Pico later this year.

Finally, the studio revealed the following figures:

Ghosts of Tabor is an extraction and survival shooter inspired by games like Escape from Tarkov, DayZ and Arma. Developed in part by veterans of the US military, the game is known for its realistic arsenal of weapons.

You explore large maps alone or in squads of up to three players, hunting for loot and fighting human and AI-controlled enemies.

Captured equipment, weapons, ammunition, medicine, food, and water can be transported to your personal bunker – provided you make it to the extraction point alive. The game also features a crafting system, trading, and missions that unlock special items.

Ghosts of Tabor was released on the App Lab and Steam in March 2023. Since then, it has received more than 8,000 ratings in the App Lab. That’s more than any other VR game released in the Quest Store and App Lab in 2023. On Steam, the game has 5,000 “mostly positive” reviews on Steam.
