Pistol Whip, the popular VR rhythm shooter, has received an extensive free update called Voidslayer. The first part of this three-part metal music adventure was released yesterday for Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. Voidslayer features intense power metal tracks from bands such as Bloodbound and Firewind. Two new gameplay modifiers have also been introduced: Color Match forces the use of two color-matched weapons, while Deflector causes bullets to be deflected back at enemies. The first scene, Hero’s Dawn, takes you into a fiery, dark world. Parts two and three will follow in the coming weeks. Cloudhead will continue to support Pistol Whip with extensive free content updates.
