MPost Partners with the GAIR Global Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Summit for AI & GPT Hackathon

Metaverse Post has partnered with the GAIR (Global Artificial Intelligence and Robotics( Summit for the AI & GPT Hackathon jointly organized with Moledao and Leiphone.

Returning for its seventh year, the GAIR Summit will be held at the Orchard Hotel Singapore from Aug 14-15. The forum is jointly organized by GAIR Research Institute, Leiphone.com, World Science Publishing House, Kotler Marketing Group and other well-known institutions. 

As part of the summit, the AI & GPT hackathon aims to invite universities in Singapore and global industry professionals to brainstorm and exchange ideas with industry experts. This initiative serves a twofold purpose: firstly, to enhance the visibility and promotion of the summit, and secondly, to establish a platform for effective communication between innovators and investors.

The overarching goal is to cultivate an ecosystem in Singapore that integrates research, industry incubation, and investment to promote mutual collaboration and drive innovation in artificial intelligence.

Those interested in participating in the hackathon can register and form a team or request to join an existing one. Each participating team will have to go through rounds of screening. The hackathon will culminate in an online demo day on Aug 12 and an offline demo day on Aug 15. 

Held annually since 2016, the GAIR Summit brings together distinguished scientists, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists in a dynamic gathering to discuss the latest breakthroughs in research, explore avenues for commercialization, and uncover investment prospects in artificial intelligence and robotics. More than 500 professional attendees and tens thousands of livestream audiences are expected at the summit.

Keynote speakers at past summits included Prof James Heckman from Chicago University, Turing award winner Dr. Joseph Sifakis, Prof Ming Li from Waterloo University, Prof Wen Gao from Peking University, Dr. Xiangyang Shen from Microsoft Inc., Prof Qiang Yang from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Prof Michael Woodridge from Oxford University, etc. 

Over 170 investors and more than 600 corporate leaders have also attended previous editions of the GAIR Summit.
