Bandai Namco Filmworks and Atlas V’s upcoming VR anime movie, Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom, will include mixed reality features. The Quest release will allow users to engage in mini-battles in their living spaces using mobile suits from the main story and exclusive designs. The movie launches on Meta Quest in fall 2024. Shoko Nakagawa will perform the theme song “Across The World,” set for digital release on July 3. Nakagawa will also appear at a Gundam panel during Anime Expo 2024 on July 5, where more Silver Phantom details will be revealed.
