Meta’s VR subscription Meta Quest+ brings you two new VR games every month. The following two titles were added in January 2024.
Nock is a pure multiplayer game that combines soccer and archery. It offers modes for fun rounds with friends as well as competitive players.
The goal of the game is to shoot a ball into the opponent’s goal using a bow and arrows. Special items are available for this purpose. Among other things, players can use block arrows to create obstacles. What’s more, players aren’t limited to using bows and arrows, they can also score goals with their bodies.
Regular price: $10
The 2017 VR experience demonstrates the suggestive power of virtual reality like no other. You enter an elevator at the base of a skyscraper that, after a short ride, opens to reveal a deep chasm in front of you. The mental challenge is to balance on a virtual wooden plank above the abyss.
In the early days of VR, Richie’s Plank Experience was an exciting experience. In 2024, it is lacking in content, despite the recent addition of a mixed reality mode.
Regular price: $15
Meta Quest+ launched in July 2023 and works as follows:
The subscription costs $7.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD for an annual subscription.
The following VR games have been part of Quest+ so far:
July 2023
August 2023
September 2023
October 2023
November 2023
December 2023
The January 2024 offer is one of the weakest yet for Meta Quest+. Nock is only interesting for fans of multiplayer games, while in Richie’s Plank Experience you’ve seen everything after fifteen minutes.
