The Future Is Now

Meta Quest+ in February 2024: These two VR games are featured

Meta’s VR subscription Meta Quest+ brings you two new VR games every month. The following two titles were added in February 2024.

In this 2017 VR classic, take on the role of an agent on the trail of the evil Dr. Zor and use your brains, instincts, and telekinesis to get out of all kinds of sticky situations.

I Expect You To Die is an escape room game built from the ground up for VR. It is played in a seated position and relies on interaction with the immediate environment. The lack of artificial locomotion makes the title suitable for all types of players.

So far, two sequels have been released, which have also been well received.

Regular price: $25

This anime adventure from Tokyo-based studio MyDearest is set in a distant sci-fi future. You are a detective with the ability to turn back time and rewrite the past. Your mission is to solve an impossible crime and save the city of Astrum Close from destruction.

Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate comes in an episodic format and likely only includes the first episode, so you’ll need to purchase episodes 2 and 3 for $15 each if you want to finish the story. If you want to delve deeper into the Chronos universe, you can also check out the two prequels, Tokyo Chronos (2019) and Altdeus: Beyond Chronos (2020), which are also available for Meta Quest.

Regular price: $20
