Meta launches a small sale at the beginning of the year, reducing some VR games for Quest headsets by almost half.
VR games for Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro are currently heavily discounted. There are also some savings bundles where you can get multiple games at a reduced price.
The discounts are up to 45 percent off the suggested retail price. Meta’s “Start Something New Sale” runs until January 28 at 11:59 pm PT.
These VR games are currently on sale
Reduced VR games include little gems like A Fisherman’s Tale, Out of Scale — A Kurzgesagt Adventure, a VR game of the YouTube knowledge channel, and the stealth shooter Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior. Horror fans will find Lies Beneath, a VR horror game that tells its story in stylish three-dimensional comics.

Small sale in between
From time to time, Meta launches small and large sales that offer discounts on VR games in the Quest Store. The last sale was just a few weeks ago. At that time, current VR hits like Assassin’s Creed Nexus and Vampire: The Masquerade — Justice were also discounted.
The big hits are missing
Compared to the winter sale, the current sale is relatively small. However, you can still get some great VR games for little money. The Creative Hobbies Bundle, for example, includes two great apps for creative people: the mixed reality piano tutor PianoVision and Vermillion. A Fisherman’s Tale is a magical little adventure, and rhythm fans can get their fix with Pistol Whip and Ragnarock in the Rhythm Rush bundle.
