The Future Is Now

Meta confirms work on GTA: San Andreas VR, then backtracks

In the comments section of a YouTube video (see below) about the new body motion upgrade for Racket Club, Meta Support confirmed that the company is still working on the VR game GTA: San Andreas VR, which has disappeared without a trace. One user asked Meta directly if there was a release date for the long-awaited game, or if it had been canceled. The official Meta account responded: “Hey There! Indeed we don’t have a release date yet, but we’re working on it!” — The comment has since been deleted. Such supposed “confirmations” from Meta Support have also occurred in the past. So we advise you: As long as there is no official release statement for San Andreas VR, you should keep your expectations in check.
