Godot Engine’s Meta Quest and OpenXR support is set to improve soon

Meta announces a strategic partnership with W4 Games. The goal is to improve OpenXR support and make it easier for developers to create Quest games using the Godot engine. The project is expected to be completed by July 2024.

With this initiative, Meta aims to create a viable alternative to Unity and Unreal Engine. The company has already invested in the open source engine in 2021.
