The Future Is Now

Gesture VR is a virtual drawing studio for Meta Quest

Gesture VR lets you draw in a private studio or beam models into your living room via mixed reality. The app is releasing this month on the Quest Store.

Gesture VR is the brainchild of Canadian illustrator and 3D artist Nick Ladd, who describes the app as follows:

Features include:

“Traditional life drawing classes can be expensive, follow rigid schedules, and are inaccessible to many. We built the app to leverage the immersive power of virtual reality and break down the barriers of location, time, and cost that can often prevent people from attending figure drawing sessions,” says Nick Ladd.

Gesture VR will make the jump from App Lab to the Quest Store on March 21, 2024, is compatible with Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro, and will cost $14. The new content will be added to the Vive and Steam versions.
