The VR remake of the 1993 point-and-click adventure game is coming to Meta Quest, Playstation VR 2, and Steam on October 19th, just in time for Halloween.

According to the Quest Blog, it features new graphics, re-imagined puzzles, and a more fleshed out story. The original’s FMV cutscenes were also given the reboot treatment. Thanks to the use of real actors and volumetric video, it really feels like you’re in the same room as the mansion’s ghostly guests.

A new story trailer shows some of the characters and puzzles.

Bulletstorm VR

The 2011 remake of the classic first-person shooter will be released on December 14th for Meta Quest and Playstation VR 2.

There is also a new Quest trailer with never-before-seen gameplay footage. Bulletstorm VR is being developed by Incuvo (Green Hell VR), a studio specializing in VR porting, in collaboration with People Can Fly.

“In Bulletstorm VR, you’ll embark on an ultraviolent journey of survival and revenge as you and your squad battle across the abandoned resort planet of Stygia. Get ready to step into the boots of Grayson Hunt and settle his vendetta against the corrupt General Sarrano once and for all. You’ll collect a veritable arsenal of high-tech weaponry as you cut a swathe of destruction through badlands, terror domes, and derelict ruins,” People Can Fly writes on the Playstation Blog.

The studio claims to have lovingly adapted the skillshot system for VR, and thanks to the Sense controllers’ adaptive triggers, each weapon should feel different.

Firewall Ultra

The tactical shooter Firewall Ultra will be released on August 24th exclusively for Playstation VR 2.

On the Playstation Blog, the studio gave a glimpse of the first year’s post-launch roadmap, promising new gameplay features and other improvements, as well as two new maps and PVE modes. The launch trailer shows for the first time a new map called Crossroads, set in the streets of a Middle Eastern city.

Madison

The VR port of the horror game will be released on Halloween for Playstation VR 2.

The Playstation Blog has an article about Madison, which gives new details about the implementation of VR and how the studios uses the strengths of the PSVR 2 (OLED displays, eye tracking, adaptive triggers), and a new trailer gets horror fans in the mood for the creepy VR experience.

Unknown game from Fast Travel Games

Fast Travel Games teased a mysterious multiplayer title via Twitter, but won’t say more about it until September.

The studio is also working on the single-player role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice, which is playable at Gamescom.
