Among Us VR (December 4)

The VR game has been available in the U.S. since December 4. It should only be a matter of time before Europe follows suit. Among Us VR will be released for Pico 4 on December 5th.

The PSVR 2 and Pico 4 versions of the indie hit come a year after the PC VR and Quest versions, the latter of which sold over a million copies in less than 10 weeks.

The game supports cross-play, so you can play with friends who have a different headset than you.

Arashi: Castles of Sin – Final Cut (December 5)

Travel to feudal Japan in the 15th century and embark on a bloody quest for revenge as the shinobi assassin Kenshiro. Your goal: to assassinate a gang of criminals who overthrew your noble house and killed your family.

Arashi: Castles of Sin was released in 2021 for the original Playstation VR. The “Final Cut” is an enhanced version developed by Skydance Interactive (The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners 1 & 2, Behemoth). The VR studio promises better graphics, improved enemy and boss behavior, reworked controls, and a host of other improvements.

The VR game will be released simultaneously for Meta Quest 2 and 3 and on Steam.

Arizona Sunshine 2 (December 7)

The sequel to the most successful VR zombie game of all time is bigger, prettier and more brutal than the original and features a co-op mode like the original.

For more details on this highly anticipated title, refer to our Arizona Sunshine 2 roundup.

The VR game will be released simultaneously for Meta Quest 2 and 3, Pico 4, and on Steam.

Ancient Dungeon (December 8)

Ancient Dungeon is a dungeon crawler with roguelike elements, physics-based combat, procedurally generated maps, and a chic retro aesthetic.

Traps and a variety of typical dungeon monsters such as zombies, jumping slimes and bats await you in the dungeons. There are plenty of secrets to be discovered and loot to be found to upgrade your weapons.

A co-op mode is currently in beta testing and may be released for Playstation VR 2 at a later date.

Resident Evil 4 VR mode (December 8)

Developed exclusively for Playstation VR 2, the VR mode allows you to play the remake from start to finish in VR. It will be released as free DLC for the PS5 version of the game.

At the same time, a free demo of the VR mode will be released for those who do not own the main game. In the demo, you can try out the first part of the village and the shooting range.

The VR mode is being developed by the same team who created the VR modes of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village.

Vertigo 2 (December 12)

You take on the role of a humanoid alien who wakes up deep underground in the vastness of a quantum reactor and must find his way home. Along the way, you will meet a variety of wacky characters and battle bizarre alien flora and fauna that have invaded from other universes, as well as security forces tasked with ridding the reactor of all life.

The PC VR surprise hit of the year was supposed to be released on Playstation VR 2 in October, and we wonder if it will include or receive the recently released Bottomless Update at a later date.

Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 (December 14)

You are working as a temp at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. You have to complete crazy jobs in six different mini-game categories. Mini-games range from applying makeup with glam rock animatronic Roxanne Wolf to target shooting and emergency first aid. There will also be an exclusive mini-game for PSVR 2 that takes advantage of the VR headset’s eye tracking.

Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 will launch simultaneously on Steam.

Not For Broadcast VR (December 14)

The VR port of the hit propaganda simulator puts you in charge of a TV station, where you must maintain high ratings in a time of political radicalization.

Not for Broadcast VR is already available for Meta Quest and Steam, with a PSVR 2 version to follow in mid-December.

Towers & Powers (December 15)

In this tower defense game, you take on the role of a god who must protect his island and its citizens from invaders.

Towers & Powers will be released simultaneously for Meta Quest and on Steam.

Tiger Blade (December 22)

Tiger Blade is inspired by Korean neo-noir action films and features a soundtrack of Korean hip-hop.

You take on the role of a gang assassin who falls into the hands of a valuable heist object. Use your sword and guns to fight your way through the faithfully recreated marketplaces, docks, alleys, and streets of Sewoon.
